    Q: What is a C.P.M.?
    A: It stands for Certified Purchasing Manager. The C.P.M. designation is a credential that allows you to join a select group of Purchasing Professionals and it proves that you are one of the most knowledgeable in today's competitive world of purchasing. You must pass a test, which is divided, into four (4) modules and secure additional hours through service, seminars, etc. A C.P.M. will enhance your career with increased confidence and respect and increase your promotion ability and earning potential. This certification will be replaced in 2009 with the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) chosen by the Institute for Supply Management as the name of the organization’s new qualification. The CPSM is slated to be the profession’s most rigorous qualification, representing the highest degree of professional competencies.
